(G)I-DLE is ready to show the ‘real me’ through their latest comeback!
On October 17 KST, the CUBE Entertainment girl group released their 5th mini album ‘I Love,’ featuring the title track “Nxde.” In the music video, the members transform into classic Hollywood starlet Marilyn Monroe while expressing their motivation to fight misconceptions and stereotypes.
“I compared the undecorated and dignified figure to the nude, and in some ways, it could be obscene or it could be too lewd,” leader Soyeon explained about the song’s concept at the group’s recent media showcase. “But I consider nude not as just being naked, but being bare.”
